Megan came to visit!!!!!

Meg came to visit for the weekend. I am posting pics of her new hair!!!!! It is bright. I loved having her here, and she had alot of fun (I hope.) She went to the Doctor and found out she has a throat infection and also some thing that makes her tongue swell up. (will always have it, depends on what she eats and stuff) We miss her! Yes, her hair really is all those colors.

Baby Kessa

This is Markessa Dawn. She is my niece, grand-daughter? Don't know which. Sometimes her mom calls me mom and sometimes Aunt Tammy. She is so cute. She was born on Mother's Day and finally got to come home from the Hospital today. Of course, I was there so I could snuggle her.

How should I feel about that?

Well, I thought I would update. Where do I start? My little Meg just text me to tell me her hair is now purple and blue??? How should I feel about that? I guess as long as she still has hair I should be fine right? Well, that leads us to Lys's question Sunday night, Can I dye my bangs purple for Costa Rica? How should I feel about that? What is up with colored hair???? Can't they just get over this stage? Well, the boys still have and want their own hair color! Today is my nephews 10th birthday!!! Happy B-day Steven!!!! I wish I could celebrate with you!!!!!! Steven I love you, and I hope you have a wonderful day!!!!!! You are getting so big, I remember driving all night long to get to your house when you were born!!! I get just as excited now to see you as I did then!!! He shares his birthday with some very special people to me, Hailey (She is my buddy!!!!) She loves to come and hang out with me at work, and she cracks so many jokes that I laugh and laugh. And of course Miss Sami!!! Miss Sami became a mom on Mother's Day to little Markessa Dawn. Hopefully Sami will be bringing her home soon, she was a preemie, and they are taking it one day at a time!!!! Well, Doug informed me last night that fire season starts next Thursday! Yuck. He is leaving for 1 week next Thursday, and then back for a couple days and then on to Arizona for 2 weeks. At least he waited til the day before school gets out to leave me! I get so nervous for fire season, but I know that he loves doing what he does and making a difference. Megan is coming up for the weekend (Yeah) I haven't seen her forever. I will get some pics of her multi-colored hair, and get them posted. I don't know if I ever wrote about her making the high school cheer squad!!!!! She is so awesome. Well, I better get back to life, )Or life off of the computer. Wish me luck next week with Doug gone, and Lys wants everyone to remember only 15 days til Costa Rica!!! Love you all, TJ

Kindergarten Fun!

This is one of Daxton's best friends, and the Absolute BEST teacher in the world! (Teacher is best friend's mom too! Bonus for Daxton!)

Maybe A............

We are so proud of him!

One of the "5" Speckled Frogs jumping off the log!

What is he?

Can you guess what his part was?

Daxton's Kindergarten Program

He was AWESOME!!!!!! Can you believe only 6 days left of Kindergarten? He is growing up so fast!

Update

Just thought I would update and catch ya up on our family. Hum...... Where to start? Mother's day was WONDERFUL!!!!!!! Doug got all of the kids up and ready for 9am church. That means, I didn't have to iron 1 single white shirt! It was the best. Robby and Dax woke me up with roses and a cute Garfield card. Then we all went to church and I got to watch all of my boys (including Doug) sing up on the stand for the mother's day program. Lys and I just sat and watched! When we got home, Daxton gave me his gifts that he had made (I love those kinds!) He had planted a plant in a homemade box at school (it has even started growin) a magnet for the fridge that has his picture in a sun, and a coin that looks like a penny with a ladies face on it! Then he made me a foam flower in Primary! Lys and Chase got me "Singles Ward 2" the DVD, an outfit even with matching shoes!!!!! Then Meg called me from Salt Lake. We talked for almost a 1/2 hour! I miss her, but it was so thoughtful of her to call me. It was the best mother's day! The kids only have 9 days left of school (Dax has 6). They are all so excited. Lys is way excited to leave for Costa Rica! (Mom's not) Dax has his Kindergarten program tonight and he and I made a wonderful speckled frog outfit! I will post pics later. I have been e-mailing with our oldest (Jessica) she is very sick this week, and she needs to get some more sleep. We are planning a dinner and date night with her and I, and I can't wait! Doug is taking the boys motorcycle riding tomorrow and then staying up there for their scout camp. They are really excited! Doug is getting ready to start fire season (YUCK) Keep him in prayers. Wish us all luck to get through the next 2 weeks of school. By the way, to my fam in Iowa, I MISS YOU ALL SO MUCH! If Hattie reads this, I miss you too sweetie. I got you a new present and I will be sending it soon. Be good to your mom and dad, and I hope I get to see you soon. I think of you all of the time Hattie and I am so glad you are my friend!
Love to all
