Hello all, sorry, I think I missed September. Things have been crazy around the house. There has been lots of stuff happening. Well, were to begin......... Doug has been busy working and fighting fires (he is truely my hero) I don't see him alot, and I can not wait until the elk hunt in a week and 1/2 so that we can catch up on our marriage. Lys, well, she is doing awesome. She has the hardest classes and she is always studying!!!! She probably doesn't want me to announce it, but she does kinda have a new beau!!!! His name is Ty and her dad and I love him. He treats her like a princess. Whenever she opens her mouth, whether to talk or eat, or anything else, he just melts as he smiles at her. She is convinced that she can't hang out with him during the week because she has school and she doesn't want her grades to slip! Also, the best part of her homecoming week, the Jr's (Lys) beat the seniors!!!!!! It is the first time in over 10 years and also only the 3rd time ever!!!!! We were so proud of her, she played the whole game and was awesome. Her best friend Lexa is a senior and she lost with class. I was impressed with her cuz the other seniors were swearing and starting fights, and not Lexa, she just smiled and told Lys how well she did and she loved her. What a classy lady!!!! I am so glad that lys has friends like that with such high standards. I have always said that I firmly believe that the children of today were chosen for the end because they are so strong. I don't think I could have delt with what they deal with daily when I was a teen. Meg, Meg came up for Lys's game. It was so wonderful to see her again. She stayed for the whole weekend and we had fun. She is doing well at her mom's, she is still dating Ken, and I hope that things go good for them. I am alittle concerned with how young she is, and I want her to know that she can make choices for herself without Ken needing to put input in, she is only 15, however, Ken makes her smile and since I have no control over the situation I just accept it and love her and Ken. She is loving her new school and is doing very well at her classes. They just moved to a new house and she is loving it, it has a built in swimming pool!!!!! Chase has been busy with a new lawn mower! Yep, he talked my dad into buying a new mower for mam. He has been mowing the lawn every 3 days. He thinks it is so cool. He is still not a fan of school, but I don't think he ever will like it. Robby isn't a fan of school either, however he is a huge fan of football. He has really been awesome this year. I don't know if it because he grew an inch, or just that he is growing up, but I absolutly love watching him play ball. He is amazing. I hope he continues to play through high school! Now little Dax. Boy does he love school. He has yet to miss a single word on any of his spelling tests!!!! He is so smart. He is also the most lucky little kid in the world. He won a 52 inch tv in Rob's football raffle. What a lucky little guy! Well, that should do it for now, as for me, I am trying, trying to survive and be the best mom I can be. Some days are better than others, somedays my faith faulters, somedays I wonder what the heck I am doing being in charge of all of these very special, gifted, talented, amazing children. I think that God sometimes wonders what he was thinking. Then, I read other blogs and their testimonies and absolute faith bring me back to where I start every single morning....... Mother of 7 wife of the most amazing husband, and daughter of Heavenly father who loves me very much. What do I have to complain about??????? Love to all, Tam

Wow, it has been a long time since I posted. There has been tons going on. The kids started school Monday (except Meg, she starts next Monday) They are all getting so big. My sister and her boys are heading to Utah today, and I can't tell you how excited I am to see her and hug her and those darling nephews of mine. Doug has been gone alot since July, but things are going well. (other than the basement has flooded every single time he leaves.) His dad's surgery went well, they got all of the cancer, now it is just a slow recovery time, and remember, he doesn't like slow at all!!!! Well, I will take some pics and and get them up, the boys have really shot up in height this summer and look like actual teenagers (Yuck) Robby has started football already, and so Saturdays are games and he loves it! Meg got extensions in her hair and they look awesome and Lys, she is so dang busy with work and school that I don't ever see her, but she is amazing. She looks so much like a grown up it is scary! Well, I will post more later. Love to all. TJ By the way, Daxton loves 1st grade, he thinks he is the coolest kid in the world.

Father's Day
I just thought I would post a few thoughts about the amazing men in mine and my kids' lives. First, My dad. My dad is the most amazing, thoughtful, inspiring, generous, loving, caring, (i could go on and on) man. He has taught us life lessons that will continue forever. Through his trials, he has always maintained his love for us and our heavenly father. He knows that this is just a small portion of eterinity. I love you more than anything dad, and I wouldn't trade any of the Wed. lunches and paper reading for anything!
Next, My 2nd Dad, (Dougs dad)I couldn't do it without him. He is there to help me no matter what! When Doug is gone he always makes sure daily that I am ok. He would do anything for me and the kids, and I love him so much for that. He sometimes wonders if I have it all together (Which I normally don't) but he steps in and helps whenever I need him.
Last (but most important) Doug, the love of my life. I can never thank him enough for what he does for me. He accepted the fact that if we were together he would be instant dad to 2 more children, he never questioned it and he has been such a wonderful dad to them. He has been there through everything, good times, bad times, fun times, not so fun times. He is a one-of-a-kind dad. He loves his kids more than anything in the world. He would sacrifice anything for them, (and has many times). He is not only a father to all of them, but most importantly he is DAD to all of them. You would never know when he is wihth the kids that any of them aren't his "biological" kids. I love you Doug. You make my life complete and full. I look forward to eternity with you and the kids. I love being your wife, and watching you be such a wonderful dad. Happy father's day to all of you, love always, Tam
